Kenyan Peaberry is a rare bean. It is a single oval bean that sometimes appears inside the coffee fruit in place of the usual two flat-sided beans. This Kenyan Peaberry comes from the Tatu region of Kenya and is grown at 1700 to 1800m above sea level. These beans are sun dried.
Peaberries generally embody the characteristics of a coffee with somewhat greater intensity than normal beans from the same crop.
This Kenyan Peaberry is a fine body, rich acidity with lemony aromatic notes. It has lower acidity than other Kenyan varieties.
